Ivy Medical is one of the most promising MedTech startups in the Netherlands.

Our Mission: Providing a next generation device to improve the experience of infusion therapy for patients and nurses!

A familiar image in the hospital corridors is a patient with an infusion pole. Our mission is to free patients from this obstacle by building a smarter and wearable infusion pump. With our wearable infusion pump, patients are able to walk around freely, enabling better and faster recovery. Our ambition is to innovate the current infusion therapy market and to grow as a company in order to compete with big players in the industry.

Ivy Medical was founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the Academic Hospital Groningen (UMCG). Three years later, we raised funding, patented our new pumping mechanism and, currently, we are colaborating with several market partners to develop our innovative device.
